Our best book of 2015

Invention WingsThe invention of wings by Sue Monk Kidd was voted our favourite book of the year.  Thanks for a brilliant year, book groupers!  Looking forward to meeting up again after the summer when we will be setting up a new group on the Bishop Otter campus.  What books will you be reading until then?  Post your recommendations here – it’s always good to share a good read!

  1. Hi Julie, it’s Angela, I’ll be running the BOC group next semester. Our first book to discuss in November will be ‘we are all completely beside ourselves’, a 2013 novel by the American writer Karen Joy Fowler. The novel won the 2014 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction and was also short-listed for the 2014 Man Booker Prize. Hope you enjoy reading it. Looking forward to meeting you! Thanks for your comment.

    1. Hey Ruth and Angela,

Very excited to hear that you are starting a BOC group next semester. I think I will probably have my hands full for November, but would love to join later in the year!
