6358197A group of actors are chosen by the Ministry of Information to make a propaganda film.  These characters who would never have crossed paths in peacetime are thrown together in the wilds of Norfolk to “do their bit” for the country.  Sound good?   1. Only two of the group enjoyed this book enough to finish it. Not a gripping read, and I think the only reason I was persistant was because it was for the Book Group. However, I loved the descriptions of how ordinary Londoners coped with World War II and the character of Ambrose was hilariously believable.
